OPEN-HOUSE LONDON at Ice House Quater
WAFFLE has moved studio space; into a larger workspace within The Ice House Quarter. Situated on the banks of the River Roding in Barking, IceHouse Court is run by Bowarts, and is a new build development offering creative space for Artists and designers.
Having enjoyed 2 and a half years at Sugarhouse, property developers reclaimed their plot of land in Stratford, so Assemble move to Bermondsey for the moment. Together with former studio neighbour Haidee Drew, we are enjoying more space enabling us to spread out and take on larger projects. Alongside the historic Granary and Malthouse Buildings, its an exciting time to be at the hub of a wider regeneration taking place in the area.
Ice House Court was open for Open House London weekend on Saturday 17th September, the capitals largest annual festival of architecture and design. Thanks to those who stopped by and look forward to welcoming you for oncoming events at the studio.
