The Window is an online platform showcasing design stories & collections. delving a little deeper into the background of fantastic products. WAFFLE was invited to host an interactive event as part of #LiveTheStory series. We invited a small group to take part in our embroidery workshop, choosing colours to personalise a mini WAFFLE. We were delighted to welcome some familiar faces Ateliertally, DecorEnvy Bloomsy, EmmaJanePalin, Flat15, CourageandDash, Chopstickpanorama & Foundsomepaper. Everyone arrived at Sugarhouse Studios and were soon engaged in the designing and detail of embroidery, chatting, snacking while simultaneously managing to teach me a thing or two on the wonders of the online world.

Gorgeous treats were kindly supplied by Mast Brothers, Dinah Deserts, Nik&Kix and Propercorn and everyone loved the brilliant tote bags from One Must Dash

The act of making is something I will always relish; in both my bespoke soft furnishings and my WAFFLE products I feel so lucky to work with beautiful fabrics everyday. I love all the different textures, and colours. Turning fabric into a quality hand finished product, be it cushions, throws, curtains or blinds, is immensely satisfying from start to finish!
